Solución:Error C0000034 al aplicar la actualización

Cuando actualizamos win7 se puede quedar bloqueado y no deja parar dichas actualizaciones, para no tener que formatear el equipo esta es la solución.

INSTRUCTIONS:

01. Reboot your computer while it’s starting up.
02. When your computer starts up again, choose the option “Launch Startup Repair” 
03. When the Startup repair starts, click cancel.
04. After you click cancel it will show a box. Click “Don’t Send” 
05. Click the link “View advanced options for recovery and support”
06. In the new window click Command Prompt at the bottom.
07. In Command Prompt type this and press enter: notepad.exe
08. Notepad will open. In notepad go to File–>Open.
09. Change the type of files notepad views from .txt to All Files (see pic)
10. Now in Notepad, go to C:Windowswinsxs (or whichever drive Windows is installed on)
11. In that folder, find pending.xml and make a copy of it
12. Now open the original pending.xml (it will load really slow because the file is huge)
13. Press CNTRL+F and search for the following exactly: 0000000000000000.cdf-ms
14. Delete the following text (yours will be a little different):
<Checkpoint/>
<DeleteFile path=”SystemRootWinSxSFileMaps_0000000000000000.cdf-ms”/>
<MoveFile source=”SystemRootWinSxSTempPendingRenamese56db1db48d4cb0199440000b01de419._0000000000000000.cdf-ms” destination=”SystemRootWinSxSFileMaps_0000000000000000.cdf-ms”/>
Your PC might not have all 3 sections of code (<Checkpoint>, <DeleteFile>, <MoveFile>). Just make sure you delete section “Checkpoint” and whatever other sections have “000000000000000.cdf-ms”. They will be right next to eachother.
15. Save the file, close notepad, close command prompt, restart your computer.
Once your computer starts up, do a normal startup (it may stall for 5-10 minutes at the “starting windows” screen, but leave it going) and the Service Pack will install some more stuff and restart a few times and then everything should be working! For some people, it reverts everything and cancels the service pack installation. For other people, the service pack installation completes. Either result is fine.

    Thank you so much! It did revert/cancel the installation but that’s okay: I couldn’t even turn on my computer!
    This SP1 couldn’t get any buggier! :/

    Holaa! Muchas Gracias, Alejandro, menos mal que hay gente como tú que se dedican a dejar estos tutoriales. Yo tengo un Acer Aspire 7745G con Windows 7 Home Premium y tu solución también me ha funcionado, ya pensaba que tendría q formatear perdiendo los datos q tenía. Gracias de nuevo.Un saludo

    Elena, al final lo he conseguido…
    buska en el notepad, tal y como te indican hasta el punto 12.
    Seguido, busca la palabra “checkpoint”…
    a mi por lo menos me salia una única vez en todo el documento. y en vez del 000000.. me salia otro xxxxxxxx.cdf

    Luego borra toda la frase; ( Desde

    Asi lo que consigues es saltarte ese punto de actualizacion…
    haces, guardas y reinicias… y sin tokar nada te tiene que arrancar…. sino funciona y sigues perdida, mira a ver borrando más chekpoints que encuentres en el notepad.

    Brother….excelente tu aporte; no tuve necesidad de formatear mi pc.

    Tengan en cuenta la las lineas no solamente el valor 0000000000000000.cdf-ms pues a mi me aparecio destino = “\ SystemRoot \ WinSxS \ FileMaps \ _0000000000000000.cdf-ms” />.

    Bueno el tutorial, salvo una data de un disco sin necesidad de formatear, cualquiera que tenga este mismo problema, siga el tutorial al pie de la letra y se le solucionara el problemas.. gracias_saludos.
